While I don't mind donating my time to run HashSpace, the costs add up.  To keep HashSpace running, I do a yearly fundraiser to pay the bills.  There are two primary costs - the server that the site runs on and the social networking software package. Your donations go directly to paying these bills and the fundraiser will close once the goal is reached for the year.
